Surin Beach in Phuket, Thailand, has an exposed beachfront with unpredictable waves, making it only suitable for experienced surfers. The best time to surf there is during the dry season, which runs from May to October, as well as during the winter season, which runs from November until the latter part of February. The wind blows most favorably from the east. Groundswells create the majority of the surf here, and the best swell angle is from the southwest. The beach breakers offer both lefts and rights, but be cautious because there is a rock formation in the center of the beach. There is good surf at all tide levels, and you will enjoy the sandy beach bottom for a safer landing. If you don’t like too many distractions, the great news is that there aren't many surfers, even on nice days.
