
Located at the northeast coastline of Victoria, Bell Beach is also known as the Rip Curl Pro Beach. A title that is given to its reputation as a premise for continuous surfing events. Bells Beach stretched 3 km from west to east. The seabed is dominated by sand and reef. It is a surfing spot of long right-handed waves with an intermediate level of difficulty. This surfing spot is famous among professionals and advanced-skill surfers for its two types of waves. It has consistent long waves, with fast and hollow rolls during high tide. Aside from the dominant bowl waves with a 4 ft swell that can increase to another 5 ft. The average wave height is 7 ft with an average of 8 ft break distance. Be aware of shark attacks, especially while paddling. The ideal time to surf is between June and November with the wind from the north and northwest.
