Tucked away in the heart of Ericeira, Furnas Beach Break is a hidden gem known to experienced surfers. When the waves are big, this spot comes alive with an exciting yet challenging wave right in front of 'Pico do Futuro.' To reach it, you can paddle over from Praia do Sul or Praia dos Pescadores or take the adventurous route by leaping from the rocks between waves. But be cautious – a mistimed take-off could land you uncomfortably close to the rocks. Furnas Beach Break works best with substantial west swells and an east wind. On a great day, it seamlessly connects with Furnas, offering thrilling, long right-hand rides.
